SQUARESSnippetSqares.com is just a fun, easy (and free) place for people to come and express themselves on a wide variety of topics. It is a site dedicated to free expression and the sharing of ideas and opinions among members of the web community.
Most of our site's web pages have a "snippet board" that contains a large number of "snippet squares," which are the small colored and white squares that you'll see. Each snippet board has an associated question or topic at the top about which we ask our visitors to respond. Their responses are in the snippet squares! Click on a colored snippet square, and (in general) you can read a response, or "snippet," written by another site visitor. Click on white snippet square, a window pops up for you to create your own snippet! It's that easy! If you want to comment on somebody else's snippet, you can do so in the "Comments" section below each snippet board.
Typically we leave a snippet in place for at least 30 days from the time of entry, after which time we "white out" the snippet square to give somebody else a chance to use it. If a snippet board is slow to fill, then we will leave the snippets in place longer.
For your convenience, we have divided our snippet boards into a collection of broader themes (e.g., current events, politics, movies & TV, etc.). If you click on one of these "theme" boxes, you can see the list of all snippet board topics that are relevant to that theme. (If you see no list, then there is only one snippet board under that theme.) The theme boxes are intended to help you quickly find the snippet boards which are of greatest interest to you!
